Their view of the circular path of the sun was one of a mythic journey. As the sun rises to cross the horizon, journeys across the azure vault of the sky, and then sets, so too the inner soul crosses an horizon at its birth into humanity, then travels through stages of development here on earth. The soul then sets into the nether world, where it continues its growth, its voyage becoming one of regeneration. When ready, just as the sun rises again above the morning horizon, it too emerges again into human form, ready for a new round of experiences in the full light of its celestial  The Egyptians expressed this cycle of ever-continuing birth and growth through their tale of Asset and Assur and their son Horus, in which the mythic journey completes itself as Horus the son ("sun") rises again.
So the Egyptian belief finds expression both in mythology and in sacred geometry. It is embodied in the pyramids and in astrology. It is found in their concepts of the movement of energy through the human body and the human psyche. And it is seen in their understanding of the flow of life as energy throughout the cosmos and planes of existence that we can see and cannot see (and may not even believe to exist). And although we can separate the components of sacred geometry, as well as see Egyptian mythology as a separate aspect, we must eventually see all these aspects as an integrated whole, in order that we comprehend and appreciate the wisdom and the everyday practice that evokes that wisdom (just as Asset brought Assur together again into an integrated, whole and vital being).
As envisioned through the Egyptian perspective, the growth of the individual, the development of society and, eventually, the ascent of the entire human race to higher and higher levels of understanding and enlightenment, revolves around a cyclic pathway of renewal and renewed opportunities for evolution and change. In my personal view, supported by both my extensive studies and my own experiences, it is more than a coincidence that the Egyptian culture and beliefs are more in the public eye than ever.
As we emerge as a people into this 21st century,  we will experience an increased interest in the practices of inner growth and, in conjunction with that need, will see the emergence of many other ancient wisdoms as well as that of the Egyptians. It is, however, especially through embracing Egyptian vision and practice, in combination with new and remarkable scientific explorations, that we may find a path of self-cultivation that can be both inspiring and balancing. This is a path that can be personally satisfying and yet also stimulating - a path that incorporates the natural flow and movement of energy on all levels, physical, mental, emotional, and metaphysical.
The Egyptian concept, which reflects current cutting-edge scientific thinking and theories, is based on circular, or spiral energy. To understand the nature of spiral energy, envision a spiral composed of rungs, like the spiral infrastructure of the nautilus shell, or the spiral component of DNA. At every rung of the spiral there may be linear leaps that go out on one plane of a spiral in all directions - linear leaps, bringing back all kinds of data about that particular level, which is valuable, but staying on that one level of being or plane of existence. And yet spiral movement is more like quantum leaping from one orbital pathway to another orbital pathway. With quantum leaps, at every rung of a spiral, you go an octave higher. So if you look at the incredible drawings and the wealth of metaphysical and scientific information that comes from a relatively unknown source - Walter Russell - if you look at his material, what you begin to see is the orbital pathway that hydrogen takes as it goes from one orbit to another and then cycles back again continuously. That ladder is just a construction of orbital pathways, one after another out from the source and then back into the source: spiral movement on the molecular level, leading to the all/one expression of energy and matter.

1) cross-section of nautilus shell  2) DNA ladder  3) Russell's hydrogen orbital pathway

In the same way that hydrogen cycles through its orbital pathway and that the pyramid focuses energy, we can bring spiral movement into our own lives, encouraging it to move through the various levels of our selves, affecting us in ways both immediate and obvious and also in ways more subtle and long-term. In the same way, we utilize and focus spiral energy within ourselves when we incorporate circular physical movements into a daily practice. And in the same way, as within the pyramid and as within the surfer, we invite potency and timelessness to our own physical/mental/emotional and spiritual being.

So a lot of the integrative practice that I am presenting here have to do with the technology of circles and spirals. And many times in this writing, in this material, I'm going to bring up the universal symbolism of the square, the circle and the triangle, because these three structures seem to be the basic units of matter and
